About us

SEN Charity

With a longstanding commitment to community service, the establishment of the SEN Charity in October 2017 marked a pivotal moment in formalizing our mission to “Start a Journey of HOPE”. This philanthropic initiative was ignited by the ardor and dedication of the board of directors and employees of Microtec and OnePay companies. Our primary objective is to foster a culture of kindness and social responsibility through a myriad of thoughtfully crafted activities and programs, concurrently enhancing our capacity to undertake more impactful projects.

The acronym “SEN” embodies our three core objectives: to Share, Encourage, and Nurture. Consequently, our name holds dual significance:

  • The first being representative of our main goals.
  • The second, drawing inspiration from the lotus flower—a symbol of perseverance, emerging resilient and vibrant despite its origin in mud.

In aligning our mission with these principles, the SEN Charity strives to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Over the past decade, the SEN Charity has undertaken and successfully executed numerous projects across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, yielding commendable outcomes. Our developmental programs have progressively diversified, encompassing initiatives such as:

  1. School Infrastructure Improvement: Upgrading and constructing new schools to provide students with a spacious and conducive learning environment, renovating and upgrading library systems to bring a diverse range of knowledge to children in remote areas.
  2. Infrastructure Development in Rural Areas: Collaborating with professionals to construct bridges in rural regions prone to natural disasters, mitigating travel risks, ensuring the safety of young students, supporting local trade, and facilitating improved transportation conditions.
  3. Water Access Initiatives: Drilling wells in mountainous and mangrove areas to provide clean water for daily use, thereby enhancing health and safety in these regions.
  4. Environmental Conservation: Implementing tree planting and afforestation projects to combat environmental damage and address the challenges of climate change.
  5. Soft Skills Development: Organizing classes to train participants in vital life and survival skills.
  6. Emergency Aid Support: Providing aid in response to natural disasters and epidemic outbreaks.

These endeavors serve as the impetus for the continuous growth and unwavering efforts of the SEN Charity. Our commitment lies in fostering connections and collaborations that bring tangible benefits to local communities, with a steadfast focus on the well-being of future generations.
