We usually plan, fund and employ projects throughout the year such as building bridges, drilling wells, providing plant and animal seeds, and improving facilities in impoverished or hard-to-reach areas.

The Story of the Bridges
Together with SEN, build bridges to help children go to school

When thinking of Ha Giang province, most people may think of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark and the beautiful buckwheat flower fields it boasts. Despite its’ beauty, Ha Giang remains among the poorest provinces in Vietnam and is still in the process of eradicating hunger and reducing poverty.
SEN Charity visited the Bac Quang district of Ha Dang, located in the Huu San commune of Khuoi Luon village to survey the traffic congestion often affected by flood pipes and flash floods that occur every rainy season during the year. It is known that the citizens of the region temporarily use bamboo bridges to travel across the stream separating the main village road and its’ surrounding areas. Crossing the bamboo bridge is extremely dangerous when the streams’ water level floods and rises during rainy seasons, as it affects the stability of the bridge and can therefore lead to unexpected accidents that endanger the peoples’…
