With 8 months (From Sept 2019) having now passed since SEN opened the new kindergarten in Khe Det Hamlet, Phong Du Thuong Commune, Van Yen District, Yen Bai Province, we have contacted the teachers and were updated about the kindergarten operation. The kindergarten is running well and has been maintained in excellent condition. All classes, teacher rooms, toilet, solar electric and water systems are working well. The garden that before we came for opening ceremony was still empty with very little trees, and now they are growing up very fast and are blossoming with flowers. The teachers also planted a lot of vegetables that they can cook for the children to add into their lunch that they bring from home in the coming summers.
We are really impressed with they playing area at the corner of the yard that the teachers set up and made it with fully recycled items for their children. It looks very lovely and creative.
In addition, the school gate has been painted by the teachers with the sea animal and princess.
It is very pleased that the teachers in the kindergarten have been so creative, dynamic and enthusiastic, and have worked hard to maintain the new facilities well and have kept them clean. The teachers have also shared with us their pride and happiness to have a such beautiful kindergarten, and have expressed their wish to look after it well and to make the most of it for their community.
The kindergarten is now looking cheerful and welcoming, and the children are very happy to return to their classes and to see their friends and teachers after a long break due to the Covid -19 outbreak.
