Located west of Da Nang City, Tay Giang is a mountainous border area inhabited primarily by the Cơ Tu ethnic community. Despite ongoing challenges caused by rugged terrain, limited transportation, and the impacts of natural disasters, local residents have remained resilient, continuing to protect their forests, preserve cultural traditions, and nurture hope for a better life.
In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, as spring began to touch the mountains and forests, trucks carrying Tết gift bags from SEN Fund traveled across winding mountain passes and roads still marked by landslides from late-2025 storms, delivering essential supplies and holiday necessities to Axur Village, Tay Giang commune.

At the gift-giving site in Axur Village, gentle smiles and grateful eyes spoke volumes. The Tết gift bags handed directly to local residents were not only sweets, milk for children, essential food items to warm hearts during the holidays, packets of richly flavored dried fish, and blankets to ward off the cold nights. More than anything, they carried compassion and human kindness. Each gift was a word of encouragement and a spark of hope, helping the people here feel more confident as they continue their challenging journey of making a living.

SEN Team would like to express deepest gratitude to the warm and hospitable people of Tây Giang, as well as to the local officials who accompanied and supported the program, ensuring it was carried out smoothly and effectively.

The program “A Warm Tết in Tay Giang,” held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, officially concluded the 2026 TẾT BAG activity series of SEN Fund. Though this journey of sharing has come to an end, the values of love, humanity, and community companionship will continue to spread—enduring and resilient, just like the people of the mountainous land of Tay Giang.
