On October 19th, Tuan Giao District in Dien Bien Province witnessed the handover ceremony of three drilled wells serving three local schools, marking a significant milestone in the effort to bring clean water to students in this mountainous region. The ceremony was attended by representatives of local authorities, teachers, students, and especially BIDV Cash Center, which co-sponsored and supported the project.
Tuan Giao District, known for its challenging living conditions in Dien Bien, has long struggled with a shortage of clean water. Schools in the area have faced significant difficulties in securing adequate water supplies, especially during the dry season, which has adversely affected the health and learning environment of the students.
With support from SEN Charity, BIDV Cash Center, and other generous donors, the well-drilling project was successfully implemented. In this phase, three wells were handed over to the following schools: Tênh Phông Ethnic Primary and Secondary School, Quài Cang No. 2 Primary School, and Pú Nhung Kindergarten. Each well is over 70 meters deep, ensuring a reliable supply of clean water for the schools and students.
The students happily prepared special musical performances to welcome the local authorities and sponsors on the inauguration day.

At the handover ceremony, representatives from the beneficiary schools expressed deep gratitude for the support from the SEN Charity Fund, BIDV Service and Cash Center, and other benefactors. Mai Xuan Ha, the principal of Tênh Phông Ethnic Primary and Secondary School, shared: “Previously, our students faced many difficulties due to the lack of clean water. Now, with these wells, we are more confident in providing better learning and living conditions. This is a truly meaningful gift for our teachers and students.”
Representing the main sponsors: SEN Charity, BIDV Cash Center and Ms. Bui Thi Tuyet Hanh, we officially handed over the clean water well project to schools for into use.
Clean water well at Tenh Phong school, with water volume reaching 20m3/day and serving for nearly 400 students, teachers and staffs at each school.
Additionally, Mr. Mua A Dua, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tênh Phông Commune, praised SEN’s contribution to improving living conditions for ethnic students in the area.
The handover ceremony concluded in a joyful atmosphere among teachers, students, parents, and the local community, closing one chapter of the project but opening many hopeful prospects for positive change in the future. These wells are not just a source of clean water; they symbolize compassion, care, and support from the community for those in underprivileged areas.
