Phú Yên—a gentle land in Central Vietnam, where people are closely connected to the sea, the fields, and the quiet mountain ranges—has recently endured a severe bout of flooding caused by storms and their lingering aftereffects. The sudden natural disaster resulted in widespread inundation, swept away property, damaged homes, and severely disrupted the lives of many households, particularly impoverished families living in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
On December 13, 2025, SEN Charity arrived in Phú Yên to carry out a relief program, bringing timely support and heartfelt encouragement to local residents who are courageously working to rebuild their lives after the floods.
Nearly a month later, the signs of flooding are still evident. Damaged roads, scattered debris, and fragile homes tell quiet stories of loss and resilience. Each day, people continue to clean, repair, and restore—step by step—hoping to return to a sense of normalcy. In several areas visited by the delegation, limited assistance to date has made recovery even more challenging for many families.

SEN Charity directly provided financial assistance, standing alongside the people of Phú Yên as they work toward restoring stability and rebuilding their lives after the floods.
SEN Charity delegation directly visited and provided cash assistance to 35 disadvantaged households across three communes—Tuy An Đông, Hòa Thịnh, and Hòa Tân Tây. Living in isolated foothill communities, these families have suffered significant losses from the floods and have received limited support for reconstruction and livelihood recovery.
Through this small but heartfelt contribution, SEN hopes to help ease immediate hardships and to stand in solidarity with the people of Phú Yên, as they continue their journey toward healing, resilience, and long-term stability.

After listening to and understanding the challenges faced by local families after the floods, the delegation continued its visits and provided additional cash assistance to 41 disadvantaged households and elderly residents, with the support of Trang An Fund. Though modest, this timely support offered both practical relief and encouragement as families work toward recovery.

Despite ongoing challenges, the resilience, compassion, and strength of local communities continue to inspire and reaffirm SEN’s commitment to walking alongside people on our journey of “Sharing Love and Connecting Communities.”
We sincerely wish the people here a swift recovery—homes rebuilt, fields revived, and peaceful days returning to this beloved land.
