With the spirit of helping poor people as “The leaves protect tattered ones”, OnePAY Joint Stock Company organizes a charity project each year to bring meaningful gifts to disadvantaged children. Continuing this humanistic tradition, in 2018, OnePAY JSC organize Charity Project by building a kindergarden at PYAO hamlet, Cao Tan Commune, Bac Kan Province, for 3 main purposes:
1. Support for disadvantaged people
2. Sharing with the children to help them a better conditions to grow & study
3. Going to charity is helping you to practice good deeds as a habit
Pyao kindergarden locates in Pyao Hamlet, Cao Tan Commune, Pac Nam District Bac Kan District, which is far away from Hanoi about 300 km. 100% population is ethnic minorities, such as Mong, Dao….They earn living by farming and breeding, their lives are very poor and hard. They have difficulty in sending their children to school, they only want kids stay at home to help them housework or even take care the younger.
But with the efforts of teacher and support from government, the rate of children absences is decreasing.
Pyao kindergarden has 1 teacher and 18 pupils. The facilities are very poor and degrade. There is only one primitive wood room , which is not only the class but also the canteen, wih a piece of temporary plastic to block the draft but still full of gaps, a temporary shelter to make a toilet right on the hillside. They also lack of school supplies and toys, only few old things which retake and reuse from other school in the commune.
After the survey, we wanted to help the children to have the better study environment. The children need to be encouraged to go to school . They deserve a better life. For that reason, we decided to implement the project ”Building classroom, kitchen and toilet for Pyao school”
We had to face with many difficulties during building time, such as : distant and dangerous road, bad weather….but with the helping of Mr. Thuyen, who donated his own land for the school, the teacher, the board of the commune and all of people living here, the project also completed with full and good facilities in early August, 2018.
“On behalf of the school and children, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to OnePAY charity committee for sponsoring and building a new school site for the children” said Mrs. Ma Thi Oen, the principal of the school. From now on, we will be more secure in the heavy rainy and windy days. Thank you for the equipment and gifts that the company has donated to the children. We hope that OnePAY will continue to develop and develop many other charity activities for Cao Tan Commune in particular and community in general in the future.
