After seeing the real life, the difficulties, the dangers of students and people who live in Hamlet 6, Tan Binh Commune, Cai Lay Town, Tien Giang Province who having to move through rotting wooden bridge every day, especially on rainy days. HCM team urgently got information and planned to build the new bridge that is very necessary for pupils and farmers. After 2 months of construction, with the concern of the People’s Committee of Tan Binh, the best efforts of the contractor & the high consensus of the local people have joined hands to overcome all difficulties, the bridge had completed on schedule proposed. On the morning of July 13, we all were very excited to go to the opening ceremony to officially put into use this bridge. This bridge has a very important meaning, it’s will help the transportation for people & students more convenient & bring about other development. The bridge name “Kenh Tong Lon” with a design of 40 meters long and 2.5 meters wide was built solidly and firmly, withstand the load of 1 ton. We have also installed 2 lamp posts on the 2 ends of the bridge so that people can move safely in the evening. The people and especially the students are very excited because from now on they are relieved, no longer fidgeting when the weather is bad.
On the opening ceremony of the bridge, we also gave 20 gifts to poor students who have difficult situation such as encouragement try to rise in life to achieve more.
This bridge is not only connecting 2 communes but also connecting all people are closer together. Everyone joins hands to build, preserve & develop more for our rural areas. The bridge is now wearing a new shirt, bringing joy to everyone. At the end of the inauguration ceremony, each of us left with confident and excited, hoping to continue implementing “Loving connection bridge” projects for our homeland.
