As part of the annual activities of SEN Charity Fund, this year the program “Happy Tết” carried out by Da Nang team toward Huong Thuy commune, Thua Thien Hue province – one of the places where people were affected by storms and floods in 2020.
The Huong Thuy Blind Association is located on Thuan Hoa Street, more than 80km from Da Nang City and about one and a half hours from Danang to get there. The association was established in 1998 and up to now, there are about 127 members who are blind or disabled. Besides the monthly government subsidy, their main income comes from the production of bamboo toothpicks, some kinds of broom, incense, and massage services.
With the message “Sharing love”, in January 2021, SEN Charity Fund in Da Nang visited and presented 127 Tet gift bags including cash, boxes of crack & candy, beef spring rolls, fish sauce, and cooking oil for members here. All we hope that this small gift can bring the joy to them when Tet is coming soon.
