On the Lao New Year 2025, after careful assessment, the SEN Charity Fund decided to launch a meaningful initiative: delivering Tet gift bags and medical equipment to support communities in Paklay District, Xayyabouly Province, Laos.
This mountainous region is home to 20 families living in extremely difficult economic conditions. Among the 60 residents, 13 are living with disabilities affecting their limbs or muscle-related illnesses, making daily life a constant challenge. The local sanatorium, although a vital support for the villagers, lacks many basic medical devices.

The journey of SEN began on the morning of Saturday, March 29, 2025. The first stop was Paklay District Hospital, where representatives from the fund handed over essential medical equipment, including oximeters, blood pressure monitors, and basic surgical kits. The Public Health Organization of Paklay District received the donations and promised to distribute them to other sanatoriums in the area based on actual needs.

On Sunday morning, March 30, 2025, the team continued to Palay Village – the central venue for the gift-giving ceremony. Twenty care packages, containing daily essentials such as rice, fish sauce, cooking oil, and more, were delivered to 20 families from three different villages in the district. The event took place in a heartwarming atmosphere, with a warm welcome from the local people. Their bright eyes and gentle smiles filled the day with warmth and meaning.

The “Boun Pi Mai Gift Bag” project was carried out successfully. We hope that these small gifts will help bring a warmer Tet to the families and remind us of all to move into the new spring season with renewed strength, peace, and happiness.
