Hoa Hong Kindergarten School – Nong Village is located in Chieng San commune, a place to send children from the age of 3-5 years old. The school has 2 classrooms and 1 old toilet, located on an area of 1,346m2, built of wood, surrounded by old canvas, donated by charity groups. Rainy days as well as intense sun, this place emits a musty smell, stifling, also there are some water leaks from the roof after the storm very dangerous and affect the safety of children and teachers. With the consent of the SEN Community, as well as the People’s Committee of Chieng San commune, we have conducted a reconstruction of this school, so that the children can have better learning and development conditions
After 3 months of commencement and construction, the inauguration ceremony of the new school took place on September 4, 2019 under the witness and joy of the local people, pupils and teachers.
The total budget for Hoa Hong Kindergarten project is US $ 15,326 with the main funding from the SEN Community. The new school was spaciously built with assembled brick walls, heat-resistant corrugated iron roofs, 2 classrooms for children and 1 room for teachers, along with toilet.
The day we attended the inauguration ceremony, the weather was quite favorable, but the road was still very bad. In the speech of the principal of Hoa Hong Kindergarten, she was moved to share: We have dreamed and never thought that we would have such a clean and spacious school site. The new school year has come, because the classroom conditions have improved so much, from this year, the school will provide day-boarding for our children ”. Realizing that our actions have a good impact on many people, we feel very happy and satisfied.
After this trip, we felt this sentence more and more: “I learned to give not because I had too much, but because I already knew the meaning and feeling of giving.”
