The last bit of cold winter and a little drizzle of spring create a special atmosphere of Tet. In the “prism” of children, Tet is a festival of colors, joy, and happiness. It is the color of the brilliant streets, the clean and beautiful villages, many flowers, new clothes, jams, melon seeds, the five-fruit tray.
Unlike their peers, the children at the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital are more special, they must stay at the hospital for treatment, therein many children with difficult circumstances have long days of treatment.
A child is on-going treatment
With a view to support children, especially critical pediatric patients, SEN charity came to Vietnam National’s Hospital with Tet Bag program. We hope that the humble presents from SEN will bring joyful and happy Tet to the children.
During the visit, we gave 50 gifts (valued at $2,586) to disadvantaged children being treated at the hospital. The Tet gifts include milk, cakes, stuffed animals, books, stories, and Ang Pao which were given to the children to spread love, share difficulties, and take the hopes of Tet so that they are always happy, healthy, and resilient to overcome disease.

For pediatric patients, these are meaningful gifts on the coming Tet, becoming an important source of material and spiritual encouragement, helping them to have more motivation against diseases.
Like young green sprouts in a warm spring, SEN wishes them a lot of health, happiness, and a lot of luck in the new year. Sending them the most loving message and praying for all the good things to come in 2023.
