After the survey at the end of February 2021, SEN Charity studied the needs of local people of a bridge on the stream, considered the urgency of the project as well as the bridge’s significance for economic development and people’s lives. Thereupon, SEN Charity decided to approve the Bridge Construction Project.
The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the project “Building Khun Luon bridge” in Khuoi Luon village, Huu San commune, Bac Quang district, Ha Giang province took place in a simple but solemnly manner on March 23, 2021 at the site of the project, on Than stream in Khuoi Luon village. A large number of people and children were eager to attend, all excited about the upcoming bridge on the stream after only 3 months.
The project was implemented in mid-March 2021, thanks to the cooperation among SEN Charity, the Happy Bridge Charity Group (NCHP) and the local government. SEN Charity support the main source of financing, the NCHP team also contributes a part of the construction cost and provides construction engineering consultancy and supervision. In addition, the local authorities plays an important role in ensuring the legality, security, and safety of the project, as well as supporting manpower and materials on site.
We all hope that with current favorable weather, the project will complete on schedule while ensuring the required quality and bring long-term benefits to local people.
