Hoa Son Primary school is located at Hoa Son, Quang Nam, 20 km away from Da Nang Center. It was first built in 2010 by the donation from World Vision Korea with 2 classes for students from 1st to 2nd grade. Along with only a few facilities and teacher’s enthusiasm, the school has made a great contribution to the education issue for this area.
Hoa Son, Hoa Vang District is nearly 20 km away from Da Nang center, it takes us 40 minutes driving there. The school which located in a small road is equipped with basic facilities and is cared by only 2-3 teachers. Understanding the lack of personnel and the poor status of current facilities, we supported to renew and make a nice appearance for the school as well as donate a bookshelf in each class.
The project was carried out on 3 & 4th August 2018 and completed within 2 days. Thanks to the great help of the Headmaster and teachers here, we finished all tasks effectively despite a large workload. Especially, our team also had the participation of staffs’ kids; although they are very young, they did not hesitate to do vital tasks such as planting flowers, cleaning doors, etc., which are fully appreciated by the adults.
Hopefully, this reliable support will bring better condition for the teachers and students, refresh learning environment and contribute greatly to the Teaching mission of the school.
