For adults, spring is the season of family reunion, happiness, and love. Spring is considerably easier in the thoughts of kids. From the perspective of children, spring is the season of innocence and delight, with new clothing and toys from their mother, as well as the opportunity to go out and get lucky money. However, not everyone experiences this seemingly easy enjoyment. There are still unfortunate individuals around us, particularly children with serious illnesses and living in extreme conditions.
In order to provide the flavour of Tet to children, our SEN charity fund visited and delivered presents to children in the Department of Cancer from Children’s Hospital II, where children consider the hospital to be their home, in the final days of this year around Tet. When Tet arrives, they must remain in the hospital for therapy. As a wish of luck, peace, and happiness, we delivered 40 presents to children receiving long-term treatment under difficult conditions, including cakes, milk, story books, toys, and lucky money envelopes. Even though they were still holding medicine, the children were really interested when they received the toys, cakes, and milk. Hopefully, this little gift will help the children have more joy and energy to treat the disease, recover quickly, be healthy to return home soon.
