The Artist nursing home is at the end of the road in a small alley 314/65 Au Duong Lan Str., Ward 3, District 8, HCMC. This is an old house with 20 old artists lived in difficulty, but it is a warm place of love, friendship.
After the survey in Aug 2019 and witnessing the difficulties of people when the facilities here are old and degraded, the SEN charity – HCMC Branch decided to renovate the kitchen room (about 30 Spm) for them to ensure more hygiene.
On Saturday afternoon, 12 Oct 2019, about 20 staffs (Microtec & OnePAY) moved to the Artist nursing home to re-paint the kitchen room. After the greetings and encouragement, we all started the work as planned. We divided to small group to clean & repaint the walls, replace the main door, install new kitchen cabinets, add more lights to make the kitchen brighter. Beside that we also donated them a new gas cooker and electric cooker for safe using.
After finishing our task above, our team also helped to re-arrange and clean kitchen utensils neatly, clear bushes around their rooms to fight mosquitoes. We all finished our work at 7pm.
After a day of hard work, all planned works were completed successfully. Everyone was tired, but very excited because of bringing the meaningful to people here, now they all in the nursing home have a cleaning kitchen and some new facilities to serve their daily food safe and sound. The people here were very happy, they send the best wishes to our Company and SEN charity for the good action we did for them.
