Located in the Northwest region, famous for its mountain pass roads, Son La is a poor city with ethnic and low-income people.

Chieng San Primary School in Muong La District, is one of the schools heavily affected by the nature in the area. Built in 2005, but now the classrooms are old, all classrooms are broken, and the bathroom area is in bad condition. Electricity and water lines are available, but all are old and must be connected from the people’s houses.

Chieng San school is currently a place of study for 42 students and is divided into 3 classes of 1-2-3. The total area is nearly 1400m2, but the playground area has occupied 450m2. In rainy days, the school yard is very dirty and slippery, because the entire yard is muddy. The current students all go home at noon, because the school does not have a kitchen, and lack of facilities.

During the inspection for Development project in 2019, we had the opportunity to survey this school. And this is really a school that needs to be upgraded, for the safety of our students.
Therefore, with the approval of Management, in 2020, the OnePAY Hanoi team will carry out the renovation of this school, at the same time rebuild the toilet and make the surrounding fence, with the expectation want students to study in a safer and cleaner environment.
Hope 2020 will be a successful year, and start the charitable plans of the new decade.
