Joining hands to help Trung Vuong Hospital fight COVID-19

On the morning of August 29, at Trung Vuong Hospital, the hospital’s representative received the second oxygen compressor system, sponsored, and supplied by the SEN Charity Fund. Previously, on August 14, 2021, SEN Charity had presented the first air compressor system.

Trung Vuong Hospital is treating COVID-19 patients in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 10. The timely provision of 2 oxygen compressor systems will give the hospital the ability to provide essential oxygen to over 400 COVID-19 patients at the same time, helping to prevent deaths from the disease.

After receiving the 2 compressor systems, the leader of the Board of Directors of Trung Vuong Hospital expressed his respect and said: “Patients with COVID-19 could experience respiratory failure. However, if they are assisted with a compressed air ventilator, the risk of death will be limited, and the patient can recover. SEN Charity’s gift is extremely valuable, it will help more COVID-19 patients have a chance to recover.”

Ho Chi Minh City is currently the largest epidemic area in the country, and many patients will progress after infection to a severe respiratory failure and ultimately, to death quickly without the support of a ventilator.

The sponsorship of air compressor systems makes a practical contribution to supplementing treatment facilities for COVID-19 patients at the hospital, contributing to reducing the shortage of medical equipment and supplies at the time when the Hospital has to receive a large number of patients every day for treatment.

SEN Charity is proud to support Trung Vuong Hospital and this special day will join many other memories of joining hands to help Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country to fight Covid-19.
