Another joyful summer is coming to lovely children at district 8, Ho Chi Minh City. It doesn’t like other summer holidays before Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, this summer marks a tremendous change in district 8 orphans’ mind. This is the first time ever they suffer from the absence of caring and love of their lovers who passed away by Covid-19. Some of them have to take care of their younger siblings in places of their mother, some children help their fathers to earn extra money to cover the living expense. SEN Charity with ” Matchstick Scholarship” offers an opportunity to accompany and support orphaned children. We hope that it will help to release a part of the up-coming difficulties.
In 22nd, June 2022, SEN charity held a ceremony to evaluate the studying result of orphans who receiving the scholarship in 2021-2022 academic year. Almost children have accomplished successfully mission of the year. There are 11 kids got well-done result while 3 children got excellent achievement. On top of that, every children is healthy and getting on well with the life of missing father or mother.
At the ceremony, with a view to encourage orphans’ spirits and to pave the way to have a normal summer like all other children, SEN charity distributed presents and scholarships to excellent children as well as sponsored extra expense to their extra classes in this summer in order equip themselves more knowledge for the next academic year 2022-2023.
Orphans received “Matchstick scholarship” (value 13 Million VND) from SEN representative.
SEN charity code of conduct is ” Accompanying the Kids on the ways to school; Building up their confidence; Psychology Consulting and Caring, training to leave independently and to protect themselves”. We believe that these orphans will overcome the difficulties and reach to a bright future.
Nguyen Thanh Nhan is a 10 grade children. He got an excellent academic achievement. He has a dream of being a doctor.
