Khmer New Year is knocking on our door, it is time for family reunion and sharing love. This year, SEN charity plans to do a project for Nature Conservancy is a major forest restoration project to protect our environment.
On April 8, 2023, members of SEN Charity in Cambodia officially launched this project. Our team visited Trapangsangke Community Fishery in Kampot province. The Tranpang sangke Community Fishery is appear with beautiful forests and salt fields. The community takes care of more than 10,000 mangrove trees.
We have planted 500 mangroves trees to slow the impact of climate change and biodiversity loss. Besides, we shared some wonderful gifts with the people who live in the Trapangsangke Community Fishery at Kampot province also. To share with them happiness on Khmer New Year, SEN contributed some gifts such as rice, instant noodle, fish sauce, soy sauce and fish in tomato sauce. During that day, we noticed that they were very emotional, excited and proud of the team for participating in planting mangrove trees.
The environment will become better because of our participation, love and caring. Thanks to SEN charity for organizing meaningful activities to help the environment as well as bring joy to the children and local people there on holiday. Happy Khmer New Year!
