Mang Rao Primary school is one of mountain schools in Dakpek Commune, poor residential communities in Dakglei District, Kon Tum Province, 180 km far away from Da Nang city. The school was built before 2006, with only 3 classrooms for 5 grades. At the time we visit, there are about 41 students, and most of them are De Trieng ethnic, including 17 girls & 24 boys; and 3 female teachers who are living nearby the school. The facilities are so simple and downgrade; there is no Toilet for both teachers and students. Everyday, they have to relive themselves in the backyard behind the school.
After discussion with the Headmaster, Mr Quoc, we all agreed that the most imperative concern is a new toilet for those primary pupils and teachers. Therefore, SEN charity decided to carry out the project building toilet block and water tower for Mang Rao primary school to improve the education environment here.
