The upcoming Lunar New Year holiday (Tet) is special in Vietnamese life and a time of family reunion, but for children with difficult circumstances who carry a dangerous disease, it is a series of long days in the hospital with pills, hanging around for the line, and injections. For everyone, Tet is very close, but for cancer kids and their families, Tet is still thousands of kilometers away.
The Pediatric Department of the K Tan Trieu hospital has a large number of children with cancer between the ages of 1 month and 15 years. Every day, the department admits hundreds of inpatients from many provinces and cities across the country, focusing on all kinds of childhood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, hard tumors, and soft sarcomas…

With a view to erase desperate circumstances, to nurture belief and hope , to overcome diseases for children with love, sharing, the “TET Bag” program has been shared with pediatric cancer patients at Pediatric Department, Tan Trieu Hospital – Hanoi. It is an annual gift scheme from the company OnePay Hanoi. Through research, on behalf of the SEN Charitable Foundation, we planned to give Tet gifts to 50 underprivileged children here.
On the morning of 23/12/2022, the love and sharing bus from our SEN charity came to the children in K Tan Trieu Hospital. Accordingly, 50 gifts (value VND 60 million) were given by SEN to parents and children with extremely difficult circumstances.

The Tet gifts include milk, cakes, stuffed animals, books, stories, and Ang Pao which were given to the children to spread the love, share difficulties, and take the hopes of Tet so that they are always happy, healthy, and resilient to overcome the disease.
