In 2008, Hiep Duc nursing center was established by Ms. Trinh Thi Loi by the personal savings and the support of the local authorities in Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam province. For over 10 years of operation, this center has collected, nurtured and cared for lonely elderly people, sick people without children or relatives care for in the surrounding areas of Quang Nam and Da Nang. She and her staffs by themselves prepare food, meals and interest in sleep and emotion of the elders every day. They spend a lot of time to share, motivate and talk to make them happy mentally and feel happier. Not only that, when an elderly people die due to old age or weakness, the center also built graves for them.
Monthly expenses include salary for staff, outsource (accountant, nursing/ medical care, hospital treatment, burial cost…), essential food, upgrade facilities, … will be paid by income come from the owner business of her family (planting trees and flowers to supply for the hotels or resorts in Da Nang). Sometimes, the center receives supporting from donators/ her friends to repair/ rebuild/ upgrade facilities or provide more food to share with her.
Appreciating her heart and kind for the elderly, the sponsors often come to visit and support center both physically and mentally help as a way encourage the center further.
The day we visited, the center had about 7 employees and 37 elderly people, including those who were bedridden due to illness and frailty. Realizing that she and her staff are very devoted, attentive, enthusiastic, responsible and also through observation, the facilities and equipment here are gradually degraded and lacking. After being approved by the Management Board of Microtec Company and SEN Charity Fund, we decided to deploy 02 charity programs to join hands with the center in the spirit of “Sharing love, connecting the community”.
The first program: Renovating and upgrading the kitchen for the center, start building from 12/05/2020 and expected to be completed within 2 weeks. Specifications include 1 dining room and 01 kitchen room with a total area of 75m2.

The second program: Coordinating with a group of the doctors from Da Nang C Hospital to health check-up for the old and giving gifts to the center, expected to take place in early June 2020 (combining hand-over ceremony new kitchen to the center).
With these two programs, we hope to bring a small contribution as a gift for the center and would like to send our sincere thanks to Ms. Loi and her staffs. Wishing everyone at the center always healthy, peaceful and the center will grow stronger and stronger in the future.
Update the progress until 27/05/2020:
