Returning to Dak Glei, the Central Highlands area with its majestic mountain slopes and drifting clouds, we are thrilled to share the joy of inaugurating a new school. The Dak Doat Kindergarten project in Dak Pek commune reached completion in November 2023, marking the culmination of approximately four months of dedicated progress. Boasting two classrooms, two separate restrooms, and a spacious playground, the school spans a total area of around 1000m2.

Diverging from the conventional design of traditional schools, this project maximizes open space and utilizes natural light sources. Artfully incorporating stylized highlights and local thatch leaves, the result is a distinctive and visually striking architectural feature. With abundant light now available, students can focus on their studies without concern for winter cold or the challenges of rain, wind, or heat in the summer, enjoying a clean and roomy environment.

On November 25, 2023, SEN Charity in collaboration with local government and the school, orchestrated a solemn inauguration ceremony and officially handed over the Dak Doat Kindergarten School project for use. As part of this momentous occasion, SEN charity provided gifts to each student and the school, serving as a token of support, encouraging them to strive for excellence and expressing hope for the school’s continuous growth.

Welcoming the new year with the gift of a new school signifies a hopeful start to the future. No longer will teachers and students rely on borrowed spaces like the village’s Rong house for temporary classrooms. Instead, the school resonates with the excitement and joyful laughter of teachers and students in its beautiful, purpose-built environment.
May this school continue to flourish, achieving ever greater success and serving as a solid foundation for the students it nurtures. As we usher in the new year, we wish the students an academic journey surpassing the previous year, with each tomorrow proving better than today, and the future shining brighter than both the present and the past.
Completing such a meaningful project required not only the dedication of SEN Charity but also the seamless coordination and assistance of local authorities, schools, and the community. The collaborative efforts of the design team and the steadfast support of sponsors were equally indispensable. SEN extends heartfelt appreciation to all individuals and organizations that have consistently supported us in campaigns such as “School for All,” “Spring Water for All,” “Matchstick Scholarship,” and various other projects. May the collective love of all people serve as the driving force for those facing life’s challenges, ensuring that no one gets left behind.
