Get Along With SEN Charity To The Desert Of Vietnam

According to scientists, three over quarter of  Ninh Thuan square meter has been surrounded by high mountains. They look like a shelf to stop tropical wind and raining to come. Therefore, transparent sky and over sunny days are described as norms in Ninh Thuan province. The number of raining days records as extremely low. It leads to a so-called name the desert of Vietnam.

In the peak drought month of July 2017, we had an opportunity to visit Ma Noi Hamlet, Phuoc Thanh Commune, Bac Ai District and witnessed with our own eyes the scene where people were struggling with the clean water shortage. Getting water has to travel for more than 10 kilometers away. Therefore, SEN Charity has embarked on a field survey of which areas have water sources to drill water wells to serve daily life for nearly 40 households with 6-7 people per household.

The moment and the joy of the people when the borehole met the water source has been inked into our mind and were even more excited when the Pasteur Institute announced that this water source was safe to use for drinking.

And fortunately, after nearly 5 years, SEN Charity’s water well is still working well. The well still provide enough water for daily uses of hundreds people living in the mountains here.

When we came back the hamlet, local people were very happy. They warmly welcome and express their gratitude to SEN Charity because the water well project is so efficient, very practical and it has maintained a long life service for local citizen.

SEN Well is devoting to serve local people.
