Khmer New Year is knocking our door, it is time for family reunion and sharing love. This year, SEN plan to do the campaign “Matchstick”. The campaign aims to bring support to all orphaned children, especially the one who recently suffered the loss of parents during the pandemic. We hope that the light of matchstick will bring a bright future for orphan like a little match girl with her “matchstick” dream.
To share the burden with UNACAS and give all the lovely kids at the center having a warm and joyful holiday, SEN contributed 20 gifts which including the necessary items such as instant noodle, fish sauce, soy sauce, milk and some medicine, solar light bulbs, pillow, blanket, mosquito net…
During the event, we noticed that the teachers and children are very emotional, excited. Especially, we could clearly see their bright smile, happy face when receiving the gift from us. We saw the spark of light from the matchstick we burned today that give all the children a happy moment. We do hope it will help them stronger, live with dream and brightest future.
Their life is becoming more and more better with our love, sharing and caring. Thank you, SEN charity, for creating the meaningful activities that made them have a good smile with hope again. Happy Khmer New Year!
