Joining hands to help Can Giuoc Hospital, Long An Province fight COVID-19

During these days of social distancing, HCM City is sick having temporarily lost its youthful and vibrant vitality, replaced with great worries and losses as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic. The already large number of new infections are increasing daily and spreading out into the provinces. The situation of the city and its people have touched millions of Vietnamese hearts, including ours at SEN Charity where we have joined hands to help each other to overcome the epidemic. We are therefore working to provide urgent priority support that will help doctors, nurses, and frontline staff working at the forefront of the pandemic.

In the ongoing fight, almost all hospitals have been mobilized to focus on treating Covid. One of these is Can Giuoc Hospital in Can Giuoc District, Long An province, where the medical equipment and medicine supplies are inadequate for the increased demand that the pandemic has created and where over 450 Covid patients are currently being treated. SEN Charity has launched an emergency relief program for the hospital with the spirit of “Joining hands” to support Ho Chi Minh City to fight against the Covid epidemic.

On 18 Aug 21, SEN Charity was proud to donate medicine, masks, and medical equipment with a total value of $10,747 for the Can Giuoc hospital. The hand-over was fast and efficient to help ensure safety and distancing measures in place.

Representatives of the hospital offered their sincere thanks to SEN Charity, wishing all of us to remain healthy and safe. We wish all the best for the hospital workers and their families, as well as all patients of the Can Giuoc hospital to keep fighting Covid-19.
